When I took the light metering picture on the computer all I did was get up close to it, press the button half way, move back with my finger still on the button and then take the picture. The other one I took of my partner, I used her arm as skin then I pressed the button halfway again then moved back and took the picture. The results for the computer screen was that it took everything else that was brighter or darker and made them even more darker and brighter. The screen looked just how it would have been if the light was on. The other picture I took was that it made everything that looked like her skin brighter then it was and made everything that was dark even darker and the things that were bright even brighter which in this picture the computer screen. It is important to take pictures with metering them first to make sure you get the pictures as great as you want them.
