Artist Statement

My Digital Portfolio is just work from my Digital Photography class that we did for an experiment. No one knew how this would work but I think everyone is glad we did because it came out awesome. My Portfolio includes projects that we had to do for our class that includes our Metaphor Project, Movie Moments, and Self Portraits. All these projects that we have done are very great in increasing our photography and Photoshop skills.

I feel my portfolio stands out, not because it is the best one and not because it is the worst one, it just stands out because it is my work and I think everyone has work that is special to them. One of these projects that I think I was very successful with was the Metaphor project because everyone liked it. I think I did a good job portraying myself as a puppet. My skin texture is wood but the reason I don’t like it is that I did too much work on me and you can’t even see it because it is so small. The thing I think I struggled in the most was the self portraits because it was difficult trying to get the things together and it was just hard.

Not all the ideas have been from me they have been from the people that have influenced me the most. Some of these people are my mother, because I love her with all my heart and she wants me to do good. Another is Ms. Cook because she has taught me so much and I thank her for that. My brother would have to be the most important because he always has my back and I always have his because we’re brothers but we aren’t full brothers just half. He is the most influential person in my life another then others. He inspires me to do great things and I thank him for that. My artwork is a part of me, I have worked on it these past few months and I love it.
